Willing To change

This is a much-needed book for these times of violence we are living in today. The true story of author George Marrero is a story that must be told. WILLING TO CHANGE speaks of the life of a young man who grew up in the Bronx of New York City in the 1980s. When change and new ideas were coming about. Yet, the ghettos and Housing Projects of N. Y. C. were just as violent, as prosperity was prosperous in areas of positive change. The author, coming from a dysfunctional family made of the streets his new family. He became part of the neighborhood crew which led him into more violence and prison. When all hope appeared to be lost he was given a second chance through faith and education. This story shows the transformation of a person who is willing to change. Author George Marrero overcame life’s harshest obstacles through faith in God, perseverance, and education. The author invites you to read and reflect. So, you can understand that if youi or someone you love struggle through difficult situations that na appear impossible to overcome, your lives too can be changed. Wherever you may find yourself: behind a desk, in a church, in the streets, or a prison. This story will have an impact on your life. The Author has completed a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education at the Universidad Teológica del Caribe in Saint Just, Puerto Rico. He then completed a master’s in religion from the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico (S.E.P.R) and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Bible Exposition at Liberty University. George Marrero currently resides with his wife and children in Connecticut.
